Former career CIA analyst Elizabeth Murray joins me for a lively discussion about the new National Security apparatus. Why is Trump taking a wrecking ball to the NSA, CIA, and FBI? How will Tulsi pan out?
I asked her what she would tell Trump during their daily security briefings.
She’s hopeful that the breakthrough with Russia is real in spite of Trump’s flip flops and antics. She agrees that Russia has already won and holds all the cards re the war in Ukraine.
Of major concern is what Trump’s real agenda will be in the Middle East with regard to Israel and Iran. She believes that neither Ukraine, Israel nor Iran are in America’s interests.
Elizabeth is also an activist and after a retreat in Arizona, she participated in a protest at Raytheon, a maker of missiles that kill people. She was arrested at the Tucson plant and cited for criminal trespass and released. She will be arraigned in April and plans to stand trial.
