A Russian friend asked me about the Wizard of Oz and it’s political meanings. Quite frankly, I had never given it a thought. So, in preparing for this short video analysis of this classic, I watched the entire 1939 movie starring Judy Garland, and then found several interpretations of its deeper and hidden meanings.
Bottom line, this 1900 Fairytale classic speaks to us clearly about the political and personal predicaments we find ourselves in today.
