Yep, let em crash! Dean's breadth of continued research makes clear the devil's fingers spring from the UK, Netherland, and Euro Crowns. Zelensky and Putin had a deal until Boris Johnson stepped in and extended sponsored death and destruction to the present day. I remember the Nixon years, phases of the Economic Stabilization Act, Kissinger's Outreach to China and setting up off-shoring of Banking and Manufacturing industries. Many fingers in many pies and they all had districts in old Shanghai. Trump already had Solmeini assassinated, let's see what's next. In the meantime, skimming the wealth continues in newly branded forms.
However, I felt his lack of compassion for the average person in the US was disturbing. Yes, corporate pensions were taken away in a sleight of hand and replaced with 'matching' 401Ks. Then they took away the matching and left tax-deduction as the only benefit. The 401Ks were put into the stock market, giving the money right back to the corporate owners. Now, corporations only match Soc Sec so ending that deduction will benefit them again. And Soc Sec will be next on the chopping block.
I agree fully with Dean that our retirement savings should NOT be in the stock market but given a decent return, backed by the mortgages. That's what my plan does, along with protecting Soc Sec and making it viable for the foreseeable future: https://thirdparadigm.substack.com/p/reinventing-retirement. But that system doesn't exist today.
And of course a depression and inflation can exist at the same time. Isn't that already happening? The money that DOGE is efficiently saving by replacing gov't workers with AI will be less money in circulation in local economies and more going to defense contractors and technocrats. Housing, healthcare, higher education and hope for retirement, which I call the Unaffordable 4H, will always go as high as the market will bear. But we used to have the Cheap EFG: energy, food and goods, to balance it out. Now those are becoming unaffordable too, but without any decrease in the costs of the rest.
While I agree with Dean on the problem, I think we need a solution, and that's not Trump's intention.
