I have never thought of the schism that way before. For me it was about the centre of control of the Papacy where Roman Catholics centred in Rome and Orthodox in Constantinople. Later russian Orthodoxe forming its own branc from the Greeks without changing the Liturgy. Yes, one must drill deeper down to get to the underlying reasons. If one starts at the other end, it is Lucifer and the fallen angels who are the real enemy because everything happening in our world today is superficial. The real war is about Good and evil. God vs satan. So many in the world do not believe this is true and a vast number of religions have been led astray from the true God and are too comfortable to beleive or question otherwise.If one looks at the statistics of the world (and truly believes the Bible), and the statistics show up that the majority of the people an eart are Christians, the how can the Bible talk about many being call but few chosen. Who are the few? Why not ALL Christians? Start digging deeper folks, revelations await.
